Big data has become a meme, shorthand for advancing trends
in technology that can shed light on understanding the world
and inform better decisions. And, it comes at a time when
the amount of data being created is exploding. Innovation
in various underlying technologies is fueling the current
excitement in fields like artificial intelligence, robotics
and data analysis and prediction. All parts of the
technology pipeline are gearing up at the same time, and Big
Data is fueling innovation that is likely to create new
applications, software and products in the marketplace.
Digital Analytics is the
integration of all online and offline channels including
your website, Twitter, Facebook, display ads, loyalty card,
SEO, mobile application, search, sales data, retail audit
data and so much more, and is the key to unlocking insight
about customers likes/dislikes, needs etc. Earlier, It was
all about getting more eyeballs on the page, with little
regard as to what the brains behind them were thinking about
doing next. Now that we have more data, it's only natural
that marketing departments want to bring in technology to
transform that data into information. Modern marketing has
evolved!!! Impact on consumers, operations, product
development, supply chain, competition are a few benefits to
begin with .
